Heavier than ever before, Knocked Loose are finally back with a new album.

On May 10, the American hardcore punk standard-bearers released their third album You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To via Pure Noise Records. It was first announced on February 27 and comes as the long-awaited follow up to their sophomore full-length A Different Shade of Blue, released almost 5 years ago in 2019.

The brand-new 10-track release is an evolved offering of Knocked Loose’s signature, metal-infused unrelenting aggression. It showcases the hardcore band going on a much darker progression with their sound, with all tracks almost seamlessly blending into each other.

Prior to its release, Knocked Loose put out three singles: “Blinding Faith”, released last February 27, “Don’t Reach For Me”, released last April 4, and “Suffocate” featuring Poppy, released last April 23.

Knocked Loose is currently on a 2024 North American tour alongside Show Me The Body, Loathe, and Speed. As announced on April 30, alongside Orbit Culture and Vended, they are due to support Slipknot this coming August to September for the nu-metal icons’ 25th anniversary North American tour. The band is also slated to celebrate the release of the new album this June 14-15 in their hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. They will do so with two headlining shows featuring Poison the Well, White Reaper, Division of Mind, Superheaven, Trash Talk, and Psycho-Frame.
