American hardcore punk band Knocked Loose have just released a new single this April and they are angrier than ever.

On April 4, the iconic heavy music quintet released a new track entitled “Don’t Reach For Me” – a song serving as a straightforward expression of anger against lies and deceit. It is the second single from their upcoming, long-awaited third album You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To which is set to be released this May 10. This follows the album’s first single “Blinding Faith” released last February 27. The band also released an accompanying music video for the new track – showcasing the members menacingly going after a nameless protagonist in a dimly lit, church-like structure alongside scenes of the band performing.

The new single was first announced by the band through their social media last April 3 – revealing that they were collaborating with New Noise Magazine on the release of the new track as the cover stars for the publication’s 71st issue. The issue includes an exclusive flexi disc of the new single.

Recently, Knocked Loose wrapped up their 2024 tour of Europe and the UK last March 10. They are were accompanied by American black metal-shoegaze fusion group Deafheaven, and French hardcore band Headbussa. The band is set to head on a US headline tour starting this late April to early June and will be joined by fellow American hardcore group Show Me The Body, English metalcore-shoegaze quartet Loathe, and Australian beatdown hardcore band Speed.
