Janine Berdin gears up for the release of the deluxe edition of her debut album, LAB SONGS NG MGA TANGA, with MORE LAB SONGS NG MGA TANGA on July 31, 2026

“the deluxe of my debut record… MORE LAB SONGS NG MGA TANGA… out on July 31..!!! More extra awesome fresh delicious songs I LOVE MUSIC!,” the Cebuana singer-songwriter shares in a post of the announcement.

In a recent interview with Billboard Philippines, Berdin notes that releasing a deluxe edition of her debut record has always been the plan, even before her viral track “What if I miss you for the rest of my life?” started to gain popularity.

The deluxe record is led by its lead single “PROMISE..!!!,” which was released on July 9. The four songs appearing on the deluxe didn’t fit the narrative of the debut album’s storytelling. She noted that these are leaning towards the experimental and having fun.

Originally released in September 2025, her debut record LAB SONGS NG MGA TANGA captures her journey through love, heartbreak, and everything in between. “This record really fully represents who I am now, fully realized — sonically and personally,” Berdin shares in a track-by-track interview with Billboard Philippines.
