HORI7ON are releasing a new song next month.
On October 2, the South Korea-based Filipino boy group surprised their fans by announcing the release of an all-new single soon. Set to come out this November 3 at 11:00 AM PHT (12:00 PM KST), the forthcoming track is described as standing out thanks to its “hip-hop beat and powerful rap lines” as it represents “a shift away from the group’s boyish image and embracing the coming-of-age transformation of the seven boys” as they “showcase[e] their surprising charms.”
It will serve as the follow-up to “SUMAYAW SUMUNOD” — HORI7ON’s very own rendition of the 1978 hit from The Boyfriends, which was released last August 13.
The yet-to-be-named track is set to be revealed live for the very first time this November 3, coinciding with HORI7ON’s second solo concert in Manila, dubbed ‘DAYTOUR: ANCHOR HIGH.’ It is slated to happen at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Find out more about the event here.
Recently, Billboard Philippines sat down with HORI7ON to talk about the boy group’s favorite music, including the members’ current go-to songs, the records they listen to when they feel sad, the album they want to dedicate to their loyal fans — the ANCHORs, and more.
Last September, HORI7ON also made their first appearance on Billboard Philippines Volumes, with the members looking back on how each one of them got started with music as well as sharing their experiences training in South Korea and discussing “SUMAYAW SUMUNOD,” their future plans, and more.
