GEE EXCLSV Announced As Philippine Representative In AXEAN Festival 2026
The rapper is set to showcase the Filipino hip-hop scene at the upcoming Southeast Asian music conference and festival.

GEE EXCLSV has officially been announced to participate in the upcoming AXEAN Festival from August 29 to 30, 2026, at Jimbaran Hub in Bali, Indonesia.
Since its 2020 debut, the AXEAN Festival has since managed to establish itself as a diverse and acclaimed international music conference and festival, bringing together as many as 200 artists from around 20 countries. Its curation of artists from all around Southeast Asia has produced an eclectic mix of genres from alternative pop to electronic jazz, and hip-hop to progressive rock.
In its effort to maintain a “longstanding commitment to championing musical discovery while creating valuable opportunities for cultural exchange,” the festival, in its first wave of announced artists, has since invited Filipino acts ALYSON, PLAYERTWO, and Novocrane to participate in the 2026 lineup.
This year, the festival also introduced SEA Urban, a new initiative dedicated to showcasing Southeast Asian hip-hop, rap, R&B, and contemporary urban music. “Hip-hop sits in an interesting place: it’s mainstream, trendy, and fashionable, but it also carries real weight because it resonates with the struggles of urban youth,” AXEAN Festival co-founder Piyapong Muenprasertdee shared. “What sets Southeast Asian hip-hop apart is that each scene is shaped by where it came from, with artists weaving traditional sounds into their beats—which makes every country’s scene distinct and worth the world discovering.
Recently announced in the festival’s second wave of artists, hip-hop artist GEE EXCLSV — also known for being one of the members of hip-hop group O SIDE MAFIA — will be one of the Filipino artists representing the Southeast Asian rap and hip-hop scene.
