The King of K-pop has made a grand return to music, with two spectacular music video releases: one for his heart-striking ballad, “Drama,” and his collaboration with the global hitmaker Anderson .Paak, entitled “Too Bad.” Along with these two visualizers, he also debuted his highly anticipated solo album, Übermensch, that consists of eight tracks.

Representing the playful and flamboyant artistic mishmash that both Anderson .Paak and G-Dragon bring to their work, the music video for “Too Bad” is equally as colorful as the shared sound these two artists bring to the table. Featuring the talents of the former YGX dancers, Bada Lee, and Aespa’s Karina, this visualizer is an ecstatic union of visuals and sound.

Accompanying “Too Bad” in all its vibrant energy, the music video for “Drama” took a vulnerable glance behind G-Dragon’s mask. Presenting himself as a porcelain wind-up doll, he alludes to his fatigue with being put in the spotlight and being subject to scrutiny of his many years in the industry. In this frosty environment, he dances in tandem with a ballerina in a contemporary manner, conveying his melancholy to the fullest.

The artist is also set to headline the upcoming 2025 iteration of the F1 Grand Prix in Singapore. He’s also set to embark on his world tour, this March 29 and 30, in the Goyang Stadium in Seoul, Korea.
