Legendary singer Gary Valenciano has just announced Back at the Museum, a series of performances at the Music Museum in Greenhills every Thursday and Saturday, at 8 PM, throughout the entire month of October.

“After everything we’ve shared through the years, I’m excited to return to the stage that carries so many memories, stories, laughter, tears, and moments that have become part of our journey together.” The artist wrote on social media. The Filipino singer is set to perform at the revered venue on the 1st, 3rd, 8th, 10th, 15th, 17th, 22nd, 24th, 29th, and 31st of October.

The shows will be directed by his son Paolo Valenciano, who has had experience directing other musical productions such as Ben&Ben’s Homecoming Concert 2022, Huling El Bimbo (the Eraserheads‘ 2022 reunion concert), and, more recently, The Dawn‘s 40th anniversary concert. They will also be guided by the musical direction of Mon Faustino, who has worked on the soundtracks of films and TV shows like Barcelo: A Love Untold (2016) and Ang Probinsyano.

Releasing his debut album, Gary in 1984, Valenciano has nurtured a musical career spanning decades, over which he has released over 20 albums and performed over 100 concerts worldwide, earning him the nickname “Mr. Pure Energy.” Outside of music, Valenciano has also worked as an actor in several films and TV shows. In 1997, he was appointed as the Philippines’ first-ever UNICEF National Ambassador.
