Look out, A’TIN! FELIP has just released a surprise single, titled “SULFUR.”

The newly released track sees the renowned hip-hop musician evolving his sonic palette as he plays around with a fusion of heavy rock and rap elements — enticing fans with what may be a new musical era underway.

“SULFUR” marks FELIP’s latest musical release, following the release of his debut album 7sins , which was released back in July 5, 2026. The album was accompanied by a live album of his titular concert of the same name, and features special renditions from his live performance on July 27, 2024. Aside from FELIP’s live performances, the live concert album also features special guests such as PLAYERTWO and Cyra Gwynth.

Aside from his endeavors as a solo artist, FELIP and his fellow members at SB19 recently released their second studio album, Wakas At Simula, just a few months back. The album combines their latest extended plays, such as Simula At Wakas, PAGTATAG!, and PAGSIBOL, alongside new material that includes collaborations with fellow Asian pop acts like JOLIN and BE:FIRST.

As part of the rollout of “SULFUR,” FELIP is set to host a special solo concert of the same name happening this May 30, 2026, at the Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City. Tickets for the show are available via two ticket tiers, which include a General Admission pass (P5,000) and Superior Pass (P10,000). Frequently Asked Questions

The track signifies a bold evolution in his sonic palette, shifting toward a dark, rebellious cinematic aesthetic. While his debut EP COMPLEX and full-length solo album 7sins relied heavily on a blend of R&B, hip-hop, and trap, “SULFUR” breaks out as an aggressive fusion of heavy rock and rap elements. This stylistic pivot marks a distinct, heavier creative era for the P-pop artist outside of his traditional pop boundaries.

The concert, taking place at the Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City, enforces a strict 18+ age restriction and requires all attendees to wear black clothing. For general admission ticket holders paying ₱5,000, the experience includes a standing position, an official show poster, and a random photocard. Superior Pass holders who pay ₱10,000 get upgraded to a seated section alongside early venue entry, merchandise fast-lane privileges, an exclusive shirt, a commemorative laminate, and entry to an exclusive after-party.

FELIP, known as Ken within SB19, uses his solo career to explore an edgy, alternative musical identity heavily rooted in hip-hop, rock, and darker concepts. Conversely, his work with SB19 blends wide-ranging Asian pop genres, intricate vocal harmonies, and expansive narrative arcs. This is highly visible in the group’s second studio album, Wakas At Simula, which combines multi-year EP trilogies, such as PAGSIBOL, PAGTATAG!, and Simula At Wakas, alongside massive global pop collaborations with artists like JOLIN and BE:FIRST.

FELIP established his live solo footprint during his 7sins album concert at Space at One Ayala in July 2024, which featured guest acts PLAYERTWO and Cyra Gwynth. The massive success of that show was immortalized through the release of a dedicated live concert album and corresponding performance films. Additionally, he expanded his solo presence internationally by taking the 7sins live experience to Japan for an exclusive physical CD release and promotional tour.

A frequent mistake is putting his solo discography into a standard mainstream P-pop idol box simply because of his background with SB19. In reality, his solo output operates within alternative hip-hop, heavy rock, and nu-metal spaces. From the aggressive, minimalist instrumentation of his debut track “ROCKSTA” to the dark, sin-themed concepts of his later albums, his music is built around experimental vocal distortion and underground genre-bending rather than commercial pop formulas.
