Ena Mori is gearing up for another big birthday bash this September.
The Japanese-Filipino indie darling has just announced the second iteration of her ‘Ena Matsuri’ showcase, which is scheduled to take place at Justin Bella Alonte Photography Studio in Makati City on September 21, 2024 (Saturday) from 6 PM onwards. This installment of Mori’s famed birthday show promises a more club-leaning “endorphin-inducing experience” that her dedicated fans and peers within the music industry can enjoy.
Though the full lineup has yet to be revealed, Mori promises that the performers of the night are set to feature an all-electro, rave, hyper-pop, dance, and rhythmic lineup that features the scene’s buzziest underground talents. With what’s in store, this year’s Ena Matsuri event is set to combine the art of dance, music, and several other interactive elements to create an immersive environment that champions the very best aspects of modern pop, youth, and online culture.
Talking about this year’s festivities, Mori states: “This year, we are doing something different. I wanted to focus on more electronic and rave-y elements, which correlate to what I’ve been listening to lately.” Aside from a special set featuring Mori and her peers in the scene, the event will feature an art market that spotlights several small and independent merchants, as well as many intriguing surprises in terms of staging and format.
This year’s Ena Matsuri event is co-produced, curated, and conceptualized by Mori herself, with the assistance of her label, Offshore Music and production house, GNN Entertainment Productions. To secure your slots for the event, make sure to snag your early bird tickets at the mere price of Php 500 until August 31, 2024, here.
Just recently, Mori released her second single from her forthcoming record, titled “Trust Me.” The track follows the release of “Heartache Generation,” which dropped on streaming and digital platforms earlier this March 15, 2024. The indie-pop visionary was also honored at Billboard Philippines‘ inaugural Women In Music Awards with the Rulebreaker Award and performed “Heartache Generation” during the program.
