After a half-year break, DougBrock Radio is back and better than ever.
Following a six-month hiatus, premier, hip-hop centric music and entertainment podcast DougBrock Radio has returned for a brand new season. Hosted by TMP Industries founder Douglas Brocklehurst, the latest season of the podcast promises to “captivate audiences once again with inspirational life stories and meaningful conversations featuring different personalities.”
According to a press statement, avid viewers and listeners of the show, which is available for streaming on YouTube, Spotify, and more, are in for an “upgraded look,” which features “a moodier, more intimate setup that brings the premium up an ante.” Alongside this, followers can primarily expect “deeper conversations with a more diverse roster of guests — from self-made artists to established industry leaders — ensuring that each episode offers thought-provoking insights and meaningful discussions.”
“We’ve been long overdue for a comeback, which makes me all the more excited to finally bring you an upgraded DougBrock Radio,” states Brocklehurst in the press statement, promising, “This new season of the podcast is going to be our biggest and best yet.”
The show marked its long-awaited return by welcoming rapper Nik Makino as its guest for the comeback episode — its 117th overall, which premiered last June 30. In the episode, Brocklehurst discusses with Makino how the rapper’s career began, how Makino’s hit track “MOON” was brought to life, and more.
Before its hiatus, DougBrock Radio’s last guest was rapper-singer Josh Cullen of SB19. Besides Makino, the show has featured the likes of Russell, Krazykyle, MBNEL, Siobal D, and Ives Presko since its highly anticipated return.
Established in 2020, DougBrock Radio is one out of six shows from DougBrockTV, with a major focus on Filipino hip-hop. It has featured guests that ranged from the “underground music scene, mainstream hip-hop and rap icons, and urban fashion trailblazers.” Alongside this, the podcast has recently also been featuring the likes of content creators and entrepreneurs, in order to give them a “platform to share their stories and advocacies.”
DougBrock Radio is available on all major podcast platforms including YouTube and Spotify, with new episodes available every Sunday at 8:00 PM (PHT).
