Music and food have always been at the heart of connection—one satisfies the soul, the other, the senses. Last year, KFC Philippines leaned into this harmony by announcing OPM sensations Juan Karlos, Zack Tabudlo, and Adie as the brand’s newest ambassadors. This milestone was paired with the launch of the Choose & Match menu, a dining experience that lets customers personalize their meals like curating the perfect playlist.

Now, KFC is taking the collaboration a step further with the release of KFC: Nothing Comes Close, an anthem that combines the flavor of KFC with the creativity of OPM’s rising stars. With Juan Karlos, Zack Tabudlo, and Adie bringing their distinct sounds to the track, this song celebrates homegrown talent, good times, and, of course, the iconic taste of KFC we all know and love.

A New Year, A New Anthem

As we step into the new year, KFC is kicking things off with a bang—or rather, a beat. The brand has been teasing its latest hit KFC: Nothing Comes Close across social media, building anticipation with glimpses of the song’s lyrics. Fans have been treated to snippets of Zack Tabudlo singing “Ito lang ang inaasam. ‘Di nila mapapantayan,” and Juan Karlos with his catchy line, “There’s good, then there’s finger lickin’ good.” This week, the countdown officially begins as the full song is set to drop on January 15, 2025.

According to Charmaine Pamintuan, Chief Marketing Officer of KFC Philippines, “At KFC, our mission is simple: to ensure that each experience with our brand is as memorable as the taste itself. As we continue to grow and evolve, one thing will always remain constant—KFC’s iconic, finger-lickin’ good taste which is loved by Filipinos everywhere. And we want to get that message across with the release of our newest song.”

This collaboration follows the May 2024 Kentucky Town: Music and Arts Festival, which saw over 9,000 attendees at the SM MOA Concert Grounds. That event marked the beginning of KFC’s bold move into the music scene. Now, with KFC: Nothing Comes Close, they’re taking it to the next level.

A Star-Studded Music Video

KFC: Nothing Comes Close is a testament to the dynamic energy of today’s OPM scene, merging music and flavorful meals like never before. This track captures the genuine excitement of Juan Karlos, Zack Tabudlo, and Adie, brought together by their shared passion for music and love for KFC. In an exciting twist, the music video also introduces the rising P-Pop girl group KAIA, taking this collaboration to new heights.
