Post-metal band Deafheaven are coming back to the Philippines for the first time in five years this July 12.

The announcement was made today (April 17) by local production houses Furiosa and Sleeping Boy Collective. The concert is part of Deafheaven’s Asia tour, which commences on July 3 in Seoul, South Korea and will conclude on July 16 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Deafheaven last came to the Philippines in 2019, where they performed at the All Of The Noise festival in Makati. Since then, they have released a live version of 10 Years Gone, an album titled Infinite Granite in 2021, and most recently, the 10th anniversary remastered version of their 2013 record, Sunbather.

Their Asia tour follows their tour with hardcore band Knocked Loose, which wrapped up in March. No further details have been posted as of writing. Watch this space for more updates.
