Clara Benin has just announced the deluxe edition of her sophomore album, befriending my tears.

Teasing its release in a humorous manner, the beloved indie folk-pop musician utilized Charli XCX‘s ‘brat’ generator to officially announce the record, touting it as ‘befriending my tears deluxe its the same but with 2 new songs a demo and a bunch of remixes.’

This new version of the album is scheduled for release this November 29, 2024, wherein it will be made available on all digital and streaming platforms. Also in her caption, she announced the release of a new single from the deluxe album, which is expected to drop on November 15, 2024.

Just recently, Benin was one of the Philippine representatives at SXSW Sydney 2024, where she performed at two showcases at Landsdowne Hotel and Tumbalong Park. It was also announced recently that she is set to perform as one of the acts at SYQL Productions’ ONE MORE SONG 4, joining Over October, The Ridleys, and Any Name’s Okay for the intimate live gig.

Over the past few months, Benin has been releasing a string of remixes to tracks from befriending my tears, beginning with crwn’s ‘crying in the parking lot edit’ to “small town,” which was soon followed up by kenyama’s remix to “different…,” and theRingmaster’s version of “keep still.”
