The South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival has announced Tia Ray as one of the headliners for its upcoming event this March 11 as part of International Nights at Rivian Park, Texas. As the only artist hailing from Mainland China in the lineup, she will close the show and deliver a grand finale performance alongside internationally renowned talents like British musician Sam Ryder and French electronic duo KAP BAMBINO.
Tia Ray stands out as one of the most accomplished singer-songwriters in the global music scene, earning widespread acclaim through her distinctive musical charisma and exceptional songwriting. Her accolades include the Best Female Vocalist award at the 15th Singapore Freshmusic Awards and Billboard’s 2024 Women in Music Global Force honoree. Set to represent the Philippines at this event is the Ransom Collective’s Muri. “I still find myself in disbelief that this is happening,” stated Muri in an announcement post, expressing her excitement. “Everything we worked on last year, all the seeds that I’ve planted. It’s all been worth it. Game on!”
