BINI have proven that they aren’t going anywhere soon.
Last April 14, the eight-piece girl group held a mall show for their recent EP Talaarawan (Diary) at Market Market in Bonifacio Global City. Fans were able to visit the different activations in the lead up to the event, such as an exclusive photo booth, different freebies and more. The show also featured special performances from singers Bryan Chong, Janah Zaplan, Drei Sugay, Cesca, and Gello Marquez.
Aside from performances of their viral hits “Karera” (Race), “Pantropiko,” and “Salamin Salamin” (Mirror Mirror), the girl group also had segments where a fan could come on stage and dance parts of their songs with members of BINI.
In a report shared by ABS-CBN Entertainment, the crowd reached an estimate of over 6,000 at 6:30 PM, 30 minutes after the show commenced. By 8 PM, the final crowd estimate was reported to be at over 8,000.
The show is one of the different mall shows BINI are doing in the lead up to their three-day sold out solo concert at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. They will be performing at the venue from June 28 to 30.
Last March 22 at the Samsung Hall in SM Aura, Taguig, during their acceptance speech upon receiving their “Rising Star” award at the first ever Billboard Philippines Women In Music Awards, the 8-member girl group closed out their spiel by promising to give their very best and to bring P-pop to the global stage. “We will still continue to strive for excellence at dadalhin po natin ang P-pop sa world stage. Hindi lang po namin ni-re-represent ang group namin kung ‘di lahat po ng P-pop groups po sa ating bansa.“
