Barbie Almalbis is back with new music.
On August 19, the “Wicked Heart” singer-songwriter announced the release of her latest single, entitled “Homeostasis,” set to come out this Friday, August 23.
With the announcement of its release, Almalbis also revealed that the music video for the forthcoming track will premiere at Power Mac Center’s Pinoy Music Carnival this August 25 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall in Pasay City. She is set to perform alongside Ely Buendia, Cup of Joe, Maki, Urbandub, Janine Teñoso, Sponge Cola, and Over October.
“Homeostasis” follows Almalbis’ “Desperate Hours,” released last July 5. It serves as the first single off of her forthcoming fifth studio album, produced by Nick Lazaro (Twin Lobster, Moonwlk), and is set to come out at the end of this year.
In other news, Almalbis is also set to share the stage with Lola Amour, Jason Dhakal, and Arthur Miguel this November. They will be performing alongside the Manila Symphony Orchestra for the ‘A Night of Pops Concert’ at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
