Arthur Nery has just announced his forthcoming sophomore album.
The record, which is aptly titled ‘II: the second,’ is expected to be released later this month on September 28, 2024 via all digital and streaming platforms. Nery himself was the one who broke the news to the public — having shared the album cover on his social media platforms alongside its title and corresponding description, which states: “second album, second arthur, second son of arthur. sept 28.”
II: the second marks the long-awaited follow up to his smashing debut album, Letters Never Sent, which was first released back in 2019. The album spawned the hit tracks, “Higa” and “Binhi,” both of which have gone on to accumulate over 100 million streams.
Beyond his debut album, Nery has found massive success with his string of 2021 singles — including “Pagsamo,” “Isa Lang,” and the chart-climbing “TAKE ALL THE LOVE.” All three singles are currently present in the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart (dated September 14, 2024) — ranking at No. 97, No. 56, and No. 23 respectively. Earlier this year, Nery has dropped two singles, including “Segundo Siguro” and “Mikasa” with Janine Berdin.
