Amiel Sol, Earl Agustin, And More Join Forces For Cover Album ‘SWABE’: Listen

Last April 22, VIVA Records, in tandem with Vicor Music and Ivory Music Philippines, announced that they would be rounding up beloved OPM artists to contribute tracks to a covers compilation album entitled SWABE, that was released this April 25, 2025 on all streaming platforms. The album is set to feature chart-breaking artists like Earl Agustin, Amiel Sol, Janine, and more covering classic Philippine pop songs.

In the post announcing the album, details behind the work were disclosed: “A 6-track album featuring classic OPM favorites, creatively reimagined by today’s leading hitmakers. Each track is sonically crafted for the tasteful listeners of today — smooth, heartfelt, and unforgettable.”

As it stands, several of these VIVA artists dominate the Billboard Philippines Top Philippine Songs Chart (dated April 19, 2025), with Earl Agustin’s “Tibok” at No. 2, “Dalangin” at No. 7, “Dito Sa’Kin” at No. 17, and “Aya” at No. 22. Amiel Sol currently stands at the No. 3 position with “Sa Bawat Sandali,” and Janine’s collaborative single with Cup of Joe, “Tingin” at the No. 6 position of the chart.
