Earl Agustin has officially taken the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100.
On March 26, 2025, Billboard Philippines revealed its chart rankings for the week of March 29, 2025. On the Philippines Hot 100, a new chart-topper has officially emerged in the form of Earl Agustin’s “Tibok” as it moves from its debut ranking of No. 9 last week to No. 1 this week. In addition, it also simultaneously takes the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Philippines Top Philippine Songs chart, ascending from No. 5 last week.
Released almost two years ago on June 16, 2023, the groovy and heartfelt funk-pop track, which has recently risen in popularity on platforms like TikTok, talks of slowly falling in love with someone and expressing one’s hopes that they feel the same. It was recently used in Ang Mutya Ng Section E — the popular romantic comedy series on VivaOne, starring Ashtine Olviga, Andres Muhlach, and Rabin Angeles.
Alongside “Tibok,” Agustin’s “Dalangin” — another release of his from 2023 — has made a meteoric rise through the Philippines Hot 100’s rankings, making a major leap from its debut at No. 61 last week to No. 11 this week. In addition, two of Agustin’s other songs have made their debut on the chart. Namely, these are “Aya” at No. 39 and “Dito Sa’Kin” at No. 62. Significantly, “Dalangin” and “Aya” have also debuted on the Top Philippine Songs chart this week, making their entry ay No. 8 and No. 22 respectively.
For the rest of the Billboard Philippines Hot 100’s top 10, Amiel Sol’s “Sa Bawat Sandali” moves to No. 2, followed by Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “luther” and Dionela’s Marilag at No. 3 and No. 4 respectively. Meanwhile, JENNIE’s “Like Jennie” moves to No. 5, followed by TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan’s “Palagi” at No. 6 and HELLMERRY’s “My Day” at No. 7.
In addition, rounding off the Philippines Hot 100’s top 10 are yung kai’s “blue” at No. 8, followed by Cup of Joe’s “Multo” and SB19’s “DAM” at No. 9 and No. 10 respectively.
