Rae also previously gave fans a glimpse of the track through her Instagram stories, wherein she and a number of friends showcased postcards with stills of the music video on camera while a minute-long snippet of the song played in the background.
“High Fashion” and its accompanying music video are scheduled to be released this February 14, 2025 (Friday), with the track available for pre-save here. It marks the highly-anticipated follow-up to Rae’s previous set of singles, which include the trance-pop “Aquamarine” and the chart-topping “Diet Pepsi.”
The latter made its way all the way up to No. 23 on Billboard Philippines‘ Hot 100 chart, showcasing her mass appeal with the general public. The track and its black-and-white music video have continued to gain further traction on several online spaces and platforms, proving that Rae’s resonance continues to reach new audiences with every passing day.
Rae was also recently part of Charli XCX‘s newly-released Brat remix album, having joined the likes of Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Lorde, The 1975, Tinashe, Caroline Polachek, and more as contributors to the project. Her appearance on the “von dutch” A.G. Cook remix marks her second collaboration with Charli, following the latter’s guest feature on Rae’s debut extended-play AR for the the track “2 die 4.”
