Six of Filipino alternative rock’s female icons are reuniting for a special show next year.
On December 20, 2024, concert organizers Gabi Na Naman Productions announced it is set to produce the highly requested repeat of ‘TANAW’ – the joint concert between Filipina rock legends Acel Bisa, Aia de Leon, Barbie Almalbis, Hannah Romawac, Kitchie Nadal, and Lougee Basabas, originally held on November 26, 2022 at the The Theatre in Solaire, Parañaque City.
The six OPM icons are widely recognized for their “defining contributions to the late ’90s and early 2000s music scene,” with ‘TANAW: The Repeat’ set to be “an unforgettable night of their biggest hits, collaborations, and new material.” In addition, the repeat show will also showcase “special arrangements of select songs,” made even more special with the participation of “a mini-orchestra led by The Manila String Machine, adding a fresh, symphonic dimension to their timeless music.”
According to a press statement, the repeat of ‘TANAW’ is “a heartfelt celebration of the enduring bond between these iconic artists and their dedicated fans,” offering these six women — who have “remained pillars of the OPM scene” — “a chance to give back to the fans whose unwavering support has been a constant source of strength.”
‘TANAW: The Repeat’ is set to happen on February 9, 2025 (Sunday) at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. It will mark the third time Bisa, de Leon, Almalbis, Romawac, Nadal, and Basabas will be sharing the stage together, following the aforementioned first iteration of ‘TANAW’ and its accompanying thanksgiving show last December 2022.
Tickets to ‘TANAW: The Repeat’ are priced from PHP 1,800 to PHP 6,300 and are now available here. Platinum tickets include a soundcheck pass, center-front seats, a premium meet and greet, and pre-signed posters. Meanwhile, SVIP tickets include a meet and greet as well as pre-signed posters.
