Dreampop-shoegaze musicians Megumi Acorda have reissued their debut album, Silver Fairy, on various physical media formats –– which include a double CD and multiple vinyl colorways.

Announcing the surprise release on X (formerly Twitter), the group shared their excitement at the long-awaited news with their fans:

The band previously released their album on standard black vinyl earlier this year, alongside a cassette tape format that sold out almost immediately. Their extended plays, Unexpectedly and Unexpectedly (Quarantine Sessions) were also released on the physical formats of 7″ vinyl, CDs, cassette tapes, and even a mini CD.

As one of the most popular acts of the genre, Megumi Acorda earn up to millions of streams online and are even invited to represent the Philippines in festivals internationally. The success in sales for Megumi Acorda’s physical merchandise could be attributed to the devotion of their growing fanbase, as well as the rise in popularity of the shoegaze movement here in the Philippines. With the merchandise released online, it’s best to pick up a copy before it sells out from the face of the Earth. Don’t miss out on the colorways on Pink, Silver, and Black vinyl here, along with the double CD of Silver Fairy and Unexpectedly here.

Megumi Acorda’s ‘Silver Fairy’ was released earlier in March of this year, and is available to stream on all listening platforms now:
