FuzzHeaven Shoegaze Festival Announces Lineup

Dreampop and shoegaze production house Furiosa will be hosting the 2023 edition of the FuzzHeaven Shoegaze Festival this November 25 to 26 at Mow’s, Quezon City.

Composed of 24 acts from all over the country as well as the United States, the festival will feature such bands as Megumi Acorda, The Strange Creatures, MATOKI, cheeky things, Identikit, Pastilan Dong, and more. Tickets are priced at P400 for a day pass and P700 for a two-day pass. Gates will open at 3:30PM on both days. Interested attendees can avail of tickets here.

This is the third installment of the festival, following the 2022 edition held last year from November 26 to 27. The first edition, originally titled the Loomer Shoegaze Festival was held in 2019. Furiosa also organizes the shoegaze and dreampop stage of Fete dela Musique. Earlier this year, Identikit, Megumi Acorda, MATOKI, and more also joined the lineup.

Furiosa also teamed up with Grey Market Records and Shoegaze Pilipinas to release the Awanggan compilation, a collection of tracks produced by Filipino shoegaze and dreampop bands of the 90s and 2020s. Vinyl editions of the compilation are available on Grey Market Records’ Lazada store here.

This November 19 (Sunday), Cebu-based event production house John Bottles Events will also be holding a send-off and crowdfunding event to send the Cebu-based bands from the lineup to the festival. Check out more details here.
