And just like that, we’re almost to the end of 2023.
It’s been a great year for music; we’re finally reeling back from the shadows of the pandemic and fulfilling the desires of our creative and musical hearts. The local music scene has never been more alive as gig venues light up with shows almost every day and new songs and albums hit our playlists and the airwaves on a regular basis. From iconic bands re-releasing their old catalogue on streaming and physical media to up-and-coming artists rocking it out on stage, Filipino music is as vibrant as ever.
As we approach a new year and look forward to more good Filipino music, we’re remembering and celebrating what a tremendous year it’s been.
