In case you missed it, the Pinoy hip-hop and rap community came together in full force last Monday (July 28) at The Stratosphere in Makati. The first-ever Billboard Philippines Pinoy Hip-Hop Mixtape 2025 Party brought together legendary names and rising artists, becoming an unforgettable night for the genre at large.
The scene has welcomed the future of Filipino hip-hop, showcasing fresh and fierce voices inspired by the icons and legends who helped paved the way. It truly was a night to remember, one that reflected the continued rise and evolution of the genre.
More than just a gathering, the event was a tribute to how far the genre has come, from artists releasing certified chart-toppers to emerging talents showcasing their creativity through storytelling. At its core, the night highlighted Filipino identity, deeply rooted in heritage and culture, and resonating with what it means to be Filipino.
The event featured chart-toppers, viral hitmakers, and thrilling performers who filled the Stratosphere Events Hall with high energy, unexpected interactions, and banger music. In true eclectic hip-hop fashion, everyone at the party was treated to surprise performances from Illest Morena, RUSSELL!, O SIDE MAFIA, Drey Cruz, Bert Symoun, Zae, and Alex Bruce.
