If there’s one thing about P-pop that makes the genre so exciting, unexpected, and full of energy, it is how groups answer the call to stay true to their roots while also embracing their own identities.

One group that continues to embody youthful wonder and boundless energy is AJAA, a four-member boy group formed by Cornerstone Entertainment in 2023. Composed of members Ash, JC, Axl, and Alex, AJAA brings bubblegum pop and youthful charm to the P-pop scene.

Before undergoing a year of training and debuting as a unit, Ash and JC participated in the reality survival show Top Class, while Axl began his career by posting dance covers on TikTok. Meanwhile, Alex appeared in television commercials and short films.

In the same year as their debut, AJAA released their four-track debut extended play (EP), 4 Ü, featuring the songs “Hany,” “Best Day Ever,” “Cuppy Cake,” and “Torpe.” They continued to build momentum with subsequent releases, including “Bes I Luv U” in 2024 and “Dedma” and “Ako Na” in 2025. Through these releases, AJAA continue to grow into a vibrant and energetic force in the P-pop scene.

More than anything, the group continues to reach even greater heights, as they are set to stage their first solo concert, ‘Game Start,’ this August, which the members described as their “biggest quest yet,” marking a major milestone in their career and the first of many achievements still to come.

With that, AJAA are honored to be part of Billboard PhilippinesP-pop Class of 2026. In this exclusive interview, the members discuss building a strong connection with their fans, reflecting on their growth over the years, stepping into a milestone that marks the first of many to come, and taking on new quests and challenges in their P-pop journey.
