grentperez has released his latest single, “after all,” from his forthcoming EP g00se, set to arrive on August 14, 2026.
Known for his carefree and breezy indie pop sound, the Filipino-Australian artist delivers a playful breakup anthem about moving on, convincing himself that everything will be okay instead of dwelling on heartbreak.
Built around soft acoustic melodies and easygoing production, “after all” explores the loneliness that follows a breakup. Faced with the empty space left behind, he fills his calendar, works on his daily routine, and keeps himself busy, declaring in the chorus: “I won’t miss you no, after all.”
The track follows grentperez’s previous releases “boy that’s loving you,” which arrived on April 24, 2026, and “sailing,” released on May 22, 2026. All three songs will appear on g00se, a five-track EP arriving on August 14, 2026. The singer-songwriter described the project as “a collection of 5 heart felt pieces of music, some coming from the depths of 2021,” with two more tracks still to be unveiled.
In a behind-the-scenes video about the making of the EP, the 24-year-old shared, “It feels really, really nice to be in love with the project again,” adding that several songs found a second life during production.
The project also reunites him with longtime collaborator Gladius, who previously worked on “Old With You” and “Yours To Keep,” with grentperez praising how he’s “brought so much color and character into all of the tracks.”

The singer also explained the meaning behind the EP’s title, writing: “To g00se is to dream, it’s to look at the opportunities ahead of you like a guiding light and follow your passion. It’s normal for our goals and aspirations to dwindle down and fade when life gets tough, don’t forget to bring them back around. You deserve to try, you deserve to do. G00se is trying right now. Let’s see how he goes.”
Best known for his 2021 breakout hit “Cherry Wine,” grentperez first gained internet fame through his acoustic bedroom-pop love songs and cover performances.
