In an announcement made today (December 5), 1Z Entertainment have confirmed that they have “come to an amicable agreement with ShowBT Philippines Corp. through a fair and equitable resolution.” This is in regard to alleged disagreements between the use of SB19’s name and logo after the P-pop act parted ways with ShowBT Philippines earlier this year.

In their statement, they continue, “Thank you for your patience and unwavering support towards SB19 and 1Z Entertainment. Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin eagerly anticipate reconnecting with all of you in their upcoming endeavors. We can’t wait to see you all again soon.”

The group briefly retracted all official use of SB19’s name and logo on their social media platforms and during live performances. While no details have been confirmed, fans have speculated that this is due to disputes surrounding the ownership of the group’s name. Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin initially debuted with ShowBT Philippines in 2018 before departing earlier this year to establish their own entertainment company, 1Z Entertainment.

Under 1Z Entertainment, the group released their latest EP, PAGTATAG! and even commenced their second world tour. The tour saw stops across North America and were set to take several cities around Asia but were later canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances”.

SB19 are set to attend the Asia Artist Awards 2023 this December 20, alongside acts like Ben&Ben, NewJeans, and more.
