This global superstar is widening her reach through a new publishing deal.
Yesterday (November 25), it was announced that Warner Chappell Music, publishing group of legendary songwriters like David Bowie, Madonna, and more, has signed a global administration deal with K-pop multi-talent ROSÉ.
In an official press release, the singer-songwriter detailed her excitement behind this big step, “I am beyond excited to join the team at Warner Chappell. There is so much more to come that I can’t wait to share — it’s going to be an amazing journey.”
Likewise, the president of Warner Chappell Music himself, Ryan Press, shared his sentiments: “ROSÉ has earned this moment, and it’s a huge honor to officially welcome her to our Warner Chappell family. As she breaks record after record, she’s singlehandedly redefining the K-pop genre while also paving the way for a new era of cross-cultural expression. We’ve already hit the ground running with our partners at Atlantic to support ROSÉ’s bold vision and explore new creative opportunities for her songs. Above all, we can’t wait to see where her music takes us next.”
The BLACKPINK member continues to make waves as her collaborative single with Bruno Mars, “APT.” dominates the Philippines Hot 100 at No. 1 (dated November 23, 2024). As part of the buildup towards the release of her debut full-length album rosie on December 6, she dropped her latest single, “number one girl,” last November 22.
