HYBE, the entertainment company behind BTS, has launched ABD, a new label dedicated to producing its next girl group.
Short for “A Bold Dream,” the label embodies a creative philosophy centered on “pursuing unconventional, flexible, and playful ideas” that go beyond the norm.
With its deep understanding of both artists and fans, the new label aims to pursue the joy of music while also exploring new and exciting possibilities in the world of K-pop.
ABD will be led by Jiwon No, former Head of Artist Planning at PLEDIS, the company managing SEVENTEEN. In her new role as President, she will oversee overall management and strategic direction, drawing on her experience at both PLEDIS and MORE VISION, the company established by Jay Park.
The label’s first girl group is set to debut in the second half of 2026. Sung Soo Han, Master Professional (MP), the creative mastermind behind artists including IZ*ONE and TWS, will lead the group’s overall production, including music, concept, and performance.
This venture aligns with HYBE’s multi-label strategy, with the goal to champion creative independence as K-pop continues to evolve globally.
