Zack Tabudlo and Al James have just re-entered the Billboard Philippines Hot 100.
With their collaborative track “Gusto,” the two Filipino acts regain their position in the coveted music chart this week, dated August 3, 2024, ranking at No. 95. The song initially debuted in the chart at No. 88 on the week dated July 6, 2024, according to data collected by Luminate.
Also re-entering the chart this week is Korean act Jimin and Loco’s “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” at No. 74.
“Gusto,” which comes as Tabudlo and Al James’ first collaboration together, was initially released in May 2023 and soon made its rounds on social media, gaining virality for its catchy chorus and lovestruck lyrics. Since the release of the song, Tabudlo has gone on to collaborate with artists like joan, Violette Wautier, and Nasty C, as well as released his third album 3rd Time’s A Charm.
While Al James has expanded his reign over Filipino hip-hop, having done collaborations with the likes of Flow G, O Side Mafia, and HELLMERRY, as well as Josh Cullen of SB19. Beyond “Gusto,” the rapper’s collaborative tracks “Kunan Mong Pic” and “Tequila Rose” have ranked at No. 50 and No. 69 respectively on this week’s chart.
