Maki still reigns supreme on the Billboard Philippines music charts — holding the No. 1 spot on both the Hot 100 and Top Philippine Songs rankings.
The young singer-songwriter’s viral hit “Dilaw” has dominated the Philippine music charts for four weeks straight ever since the debut iteration of the charts, and has continuously beat the likes of artists like BINI, Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, and TJ Monterde — as each of them have maintained a strong grasp on their positions within the Top 10 of the Hot 100.
Although Maki retains the No. 1 position, BINI continues to hold four spots on the Top 10 of the Hot 100 — with “Salamin, Salamin,” “Pantropiko,” and “Karera” consistently present since the chart’s inception, while their latest single “Cherry On Top” makes its debut at No. 8 of the chart’s rankings. With such a strong entry for the latter within the Top 10, there’s a significant chance for the track to climb even higher within the next few weeks.
Dionela and Jay R’s “Sining” likewise enters the Top 10 at No. 5 — consistently jumping from its position over the past three weeks from the positions No. 74 (first week), No. 49 (second week), and No. 15 (third week). Given the track’s rapid surge in popularity with Filipino listeners, it’s a strong contender to beat Maki’s impeccable hold on the No. 1 position on the charts. On the other hand, TJ Monterde places at No. 10 once more, showcasing a steady hold within the Top 10 of the charts over the past four weeks.
On the international artists circuit, Billie Eilish’s “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” still stands at No. 2 for the second week in a row, while Sabrina Carpenter boasts two entries within the Top 10 with “Please, Please, Please” and “Espresso” at the No. 4 and No. 7 positions respectively.
Beyond the Top 10, Hev Abi, Eliza Maturan, Realest Cram, Over October, gins&melodies, Cup Of Joe, Janine Tenoso, Ryannah J, Nateman, and Flow G continue to dominate significant positions on the Hot 100 charts. New entries in the chart also include K-pop group ENHYPEN, who make their debut at No. 19 with their track “XO (Only If You Say Yes)” from their latest album, ROMANCE: UNTOLD.
Billboard Philippines Hot 100 ranks the biggest songs in the country, based on streaming data (both audio and video) collected by data provider Luminate. The chart encompasses tracks by both Filipino and international acts. The Hot 100 is one of Billboard Philippines‘ official music charts, alongside the Top Philippine Songs chart. Both charts will be updated weekly every Wednesday.
