We’re taking it back to 2010 as Katy Perry debuts on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100, dated April 11, 2026, with her fan-favorite track, “The One That Got Away,” taking the No. 90 position.

This serves as her first-ever track to appear on the Hot 100 since the chart’s inception in July 2024. “The One That Got Away” appears on the pop star’s acclaimed third studio album, Teenage Dream.

In the Philippines, it has remained a popular heartbreak anthem and is often associated with stories of “right person, wrong time” and feeling nostalgic towards a love lost. Recently, it has seen quite a resurgence on social media, such as TikTok, thanks to heartfelt covers and renditions being published online.
