Dionela and Jay R aren’t letting go of their Hot 100 No. 1.
In this week’s chart (dated August 10, 2024), the R&B pair has continued to reign over the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 and Top Philippine Songs charts with “Sining,” holding on to the No. 1 spot on both charts for two weeks straight. This comes after the song’s gradual rise through the ranks since its debut on the charts last month.
Dionela also has three other songs charting on this week’s Billboard Philippines Hot 100, according to data collected by Luminate. This includes “Musika” at No. 28 and “Hoodie,” which features Alisson Shore, at No. 34. Additionally, his latest single, “Oksihina,” made its debut this week at No. 87.
Rounding out the top 5 alongside Dionela and Jay R are Maki’s “Dilaw,” Billie Eilish’s “BIRDS OF A FEATHER,” BINI‘s “Salamin, Salamin,” and Sabrina Carpenter’s “Please Please Please” — all of which maintain their positions last week.
BINI continue their dominance over the rest of top 10 of this week’s Hot 100 chart, with “Pantropiko” and “Cherry On Top” at No. 6 and 7 respectively. Their viral 2023 hit, “Karera” also re-entered this week’s top 10 at No. 9. Meanwhile, TJ Monterde’s catchy heartfelt hit “Palagi” remains immovable at No. 8, holding its position for three consecutive weeks.
K-pop star Jimin closes out the top 10 with “Who,” which debuted at No. 11 last week. The track, which comes off of his latest album MUSE, is the BTS member’s second entry on the chart following “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band.”
Billboard Philippines Hot 100 ranks the biggest songs in the country, based on streaming data (both audio and video) collected by data provider Luminate. The chart encompasses tracks by both Filipino and international acts. The Hot 100 is one of Billboard Philippines‘ official music charts, alongside the Top Philippine Songs chart. Both charts will be updated weekly every Wednesday.
