Amiel Sol has officially earned himself another entry on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100.
On February 26, 2025, Billboard Philippines revealed its chart rankings for the week of March 1, 2025. For the Hot 100, a new entry comes in the form of Amiel Sol’s “Ikaw Lang Patutunguhan” as it makes its debut on the chart at No. 98 this week.
The acoustic guitar-driven ballad, which touches on the topic of a love bound by destiny, was released last September 22, 2023. It serves as Amiel Sol’s second entry on the chart, following the up-and-coming singer-songwriter’s viral breakout single “Sa Bawat Sandali,” which continues its rise as it moves from No. 7 last week to the No. 5 spot this week. With the continuing success of “Sa Bawat Sandali,” it’s not a surprise that more and more listeners are also becoming curious about the rest of Amiel Sol’s discography, which ultimately led to the recognition and increased listenership of “Ikaw Lang Patutunguhan” as well.
For the Billboard Philippines Hot 100’s top 10, Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “luther” continues to sit atop the No. 1 spot, followed closely by Dionela’s “Marilag” and TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan’s “Palagi” at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively. After them is Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With A Smile” at No. 4, followed by the aforementioned “Sa Bawat Sandali” at No. 5 and Yung Kai’s “Blue” at No. 6.
In addition, BINI’s latest single “Blink Twice” makes a stunning debut on the chart as it lands an initial ranking of No. 7, followed by Billie Ellish’s “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” at No. 8. Meanwhile, rounding off the chart’s top 10 are Dionela and Jay R’s “sining” at No. 9 and SZA’s “BMF” at No. 10.
