As part of Design Week Philippines 2026, DESIGN100: Perspectives on Contemporary Philippine Design brings together diverse perspectives through an inaugural poster exhibition celebrating creativity, culture, and ideas.
Organized by the Design Center of the Philippines, the exhibition runs from October 10 to 18, 2026, at Gallery 1, Likhang Filipino Exhibition Halls, International Trade Center Complex, Pasay City.

The exhibition poses a timely question: “What does Philippine design look and feel like from where we are, right now?” In response, DESIGN100 brings together 100 original posters by 86 Filipino designers, visual artists, and studios, offering diverse perspectives that challenge the landscape of Philippine design today.
Presented by TeamManila Graphic Design Studio, the Communication Design Association of the Philippines (CDAP), and Novice, DESIGN100 offers a “space for observation, experimentation, storytelling, and critical reflection on Philippine design today,” according to the press release.

“We didn’t want DESIGN100 to tell designers what Philippine design should look like. We wanted to ask the question and allow different designers to answer it in their own way. When you put those perspectives together, you begin to see a much richer picture of where Philippine design is today,” Jowee Alviar of TeamManila Graphic Design Studio shares.

This is only the first stage of what lies ahead for DESIGN100. Looking forward, future editions will open their doors to 100 perspectives on a variety of subjects, including cinema, food, places, tourism, history, and Filipino life, among others.
“Through future exhibitions, publications, archives, commissions, talks, and collaborations, DESIGN100 hopes to create an evolving visual record of the Philippines as seen through its creative community,” adds the press release.
“An exhibition ends, but the ideas and work shouldn’t have to disappear with it,” Alviar adds. “We want DESIGN100 to eventually become an archive — a way of documenting how designers see the Philippines across different moments in time.”
