SEVENTEEN‘s Mingyu is a brand ambassador for yet another prestigious fashion brand.

As one of the new faces of Calvin Klein, the K-pop idol stars for their Fall 2024 Line, donning several new pieces which include a variety of jeans, t-shirts, jackets, and the classic air trunks. Photographed by Park Jong Ha and directed by AJ Dean, the campaign features the SEVENTEEN member striking bold, dynamic poses with confidence — effortlessly capturing the essence of each outfit. Talking to Harper’s Bazaar, Mingyu describes his first experience with the brand, all the way back before he was a brand ambassador. “I remember when I first bought Calvin Klein underwear. I didn’t brag about it, but it just felt awesome for some reason,” he tells the publication. As part of the Calvin Klein family, he attributes a lot of his personal traits to why he fits this campaign. “I think a lot of my personality traits — like my energy, confidence — align well with Calvin Klein’s brand image.”

Just a week ago, Mingyu was named as the latest ambassador for Dior, which followed his appearance at the brand’s show during Paris Fashion Week earlier this year. Dior has officially announced Mingyu as their brand ambassador through a series of social media posts. In the first post, they describe him as “the perfect embodiment of Dior’s aesthetic,” featuring him in a burgundy Oblique suit designed by Dior men’s creative director, Kim Jones. He was also tied to Bulgari during the same season and recently starred as the face of L’Occitane for the company’s latest campaign in Asia.

In other SEVENTEEN news, members Jeonghan and Jun recently announced their respective hiatuses from the group. Jeonghan will begin his military enlistment process, with the official enlistment date still tentative at the moment. On the other hand, Jun will pursue acting and other opportunities in China for the rest of the year. Though the two members are set to take a break for some time, the group is scheduled to release their upcoming 12th mini-album as well as to commence the SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR that begins this October 2024.
