Grammy Award-winning pop star Olivia Rodrigo joins forces with Spotify and iconic football club FC Barcelona for a limited-edition jersey takeover during their El Clásico match against rival Real Madrid at Spotify Camp Nou on May 11, 2026 (PH Time).
Marking four years since Spotify first teamed up with FC Barcelona, jersey takeovers have become a special moment for fans — a tradition where Spotify’s logo is swapped for an artist’s. Rodrigo becomes the eighth and youngest artist to take part, following the likes of Ed Sheeran, Travis Scott, Coldplay, KAROL G, ROSALÍA, Drake, and The Rolling Stones.
“Fandom doesn’t have borders, and the most powerful thing Spotify can do is bring those worlds together. Putting [Olivia’s] most dedicated fans in the room with her on the eve of El Clásico, that’s what this partnership was built for,” shares Marc Hazan, Spotify’s Senior Vice President, Marketing and Partnerships.
FC Barcelona Femení, the club’s women’s team, will wear the jersey during their Liga F match against Levante on May 7 (PH Time).
Aside from the jersey takeover, Rodrigo will also perform at Spotify’s Billions Club Live on May 9 (PH time), ahead of the highly anticipated El Clásico. The “drivers license” singer’s top fans are invited to celebrate her songs that have surpassed a billion streams and joined the Billions Club.
“Seeing OR on a Barcelona jersey for El Clásico, I don’t even know how to process that,” shares Rodrigo. “On top of that, getting to perform for the fans who’ve been listening since day one, in a city like Barcelona, is going to be so special. That’s everything to me. I cannot wait to see them.”
Beyond the jersey, the limited-edition collaboration also includes a T-shirt, fleece crew, hoodie, bucket hat, and scarf, along with a travel mug, sticker pack, and tote bag. A total of 1,899 limited-edition jerseys, inspired by the club’s founding year, will also be available.
Fans outside Spain can purchase the items through the official Barça online store.
FC Barcelona has also curated a special Barça Matchday playlist that features Rodrigo’s most recent single, “drop dead.”
