Cardi B is set to host WWE SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium on August 2 and 3 in New Jersey.

Announced in September of last year in a teaser featuring the Grammy-winning rapper and WWE superstar Bianca Belair, the 38th edition of WWE’s summer event will be the first to happen over two nights, joining WrestleMania, which has been a two-night event since 2020.

In the announcement video that aired during the April 19, 2025 episode of SmackDown, she was revealed as the host of the event, wearing a “I Lie, I Cheat, I Steal” shirt, a signature quote from WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero. The video ends with her hyping up the event, saying, “We gotta turn up!”

Back in 2021, she was reportedly set to host that year’s SummerSlam, but plans fell through due to her pregnancy at the time. However, her song “Up” was used as the event’s official theme.

Earlier this year, she teamed up with Pardison Fontaine for their collab single, “Toot It Up.” She also joined DJ Khaled, Natania, and Subhi for “Higher Love,” which will appear in the soundtrack of the new Smurfs movie featuring Rihanna.
