In the spirit of April Fool’s Day, Cardi B takes her skincare routine to the next savory level with the fast-food chain Raising Cane’s and beauty subscription service IPSY‘s new “Moisturizing Sauce.”
The collaboration is dubbed “innovative, industry-first” and urges consumers to try out a new way to enhance their skin, as per IPSY and Raising Cane’s. On Instagram, Raising Cane’s announced the “tastiest and most delicious collab ever” with the rapper-singer as she puts on the moisturizing sauce in the style of a “get ready with me” video.
“Everyone always asks me how my skin looks so beautiful, so shiny, so amazing at the age of 32 with three kids, a job that stresses me out, and sleepless nights,” she says. “It’s not greasy, not sticky, and it smells just like chicken.”
Although it doesn’t exist, the signature sauce it is inspired by is famous for being paired with chicken fingers, fries, and bread. The fast-food chain hasn’t arrived in the Philippines, but the sauce, on the other hand, is often copied by many, including food vloggers and influencers in the country.
This comes after it was announced that the “Bodak Yellow” singer teamed up with Revolve Group for her own beauty and fashion brands and her first venture as an owner and not just a collaborator.
