Get ready to spend your summer in style as Jennie of BLACKPINK has revealed a brand-new collaboration with GENTLE MONSTER.

On April 20, the South Korean eyewear brand announced via a post on their Instagram that they had teamed up once again with the the BLACKPINK member to release an all-new stunning collection, dubbed “Jentle Salon”. Prior to this, Jennie previously collaborated with the brand on two other releases – namely, Jentle Home back in 2020 and Jentle Garden in 2022.

The new collection by the two boasts an array of fashionable offering, including a diverse selection of sunglasses and even a pair of reading glasses. Many of these come in a variety of colors for everyone to choose from. To top it all off is a wide range of charms that you can use to creatively express yourself by decorating your chosen GENTLE MONSTER pairs. This even includes one of a capybara, an animal the K-pop star is known for being quite fond of.

As revealed in its initial teaser posted last April 19, the collection is slated to be released this coming May 1.

And guess what? You may just have a chance to snag a pair or two as GENTLE MONSTER revealed today (April 23) that they would be opening a total of 13 pop-ups across the globe for it. Yes, that includes one in Manila, alongside the likes of Seoul, Tokyo, New York, Singapore, and more starting this May.

In other news, Jennie is collaborating with South Korean rapper Zico for a new track entitled “SPOT” this April. Just last year in December 2023, she revealed that she had established her own company named OA.
