Jennie is gearing up for the new year with her newly established company, OA (ODDATELIER). In an announcement made today (December 24), the BLACKPINK member confirmed that she is kicking off 2024 with her new company, asking her fans to support her for the journey to come.

“Hi, this is Jennie. This year was filled with many accomplishments, and I’m so thankful for all the love I’ve received. I’m also excited about what’s to come, as I start my solo journey in 2024 with a company that I have established called OA. Please show lots of love for my new start with OA and of course, BLACKPINK. Thank you,” she writes in an Instagram post.

While no specifical details have been confirmed about OA’s ventures, the company’s website reads, “OA, which stands for ODDATELIER, is a space that aims to create new things that attract attention in a different way from what is usual or expected. It is a label founded by artist Jennie in November 2023.”

As a soloist, Jennie released her sophomore single “You & Me”, which she performed throughout BLACKPINK’s BORN PINK Tour, as well as the group’s headlining set at Coachella 2023. The singer-rapper made her solo debut in 2018 with “SOLO”. And most recently, she also made her acting debut on HBO’s The Idol, a drama series co-created by The Weeknd.

The news of OA comes after it was announced that BLACKPINK renewed their contracts with their longtime label, YG Entertainment after months of speculations about the group’s future. As group, they recently wrapped up their major world tour that saw cities all across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
