Ariana Grande has unveiled two limited-edition fragrances to tie in with Wicked: For Good — the highly anticipated cinematic conclusion to the beloved musical.
Released through Ariana Grande Fragrances, the Grammy Award-winning singer shared how fragrance has always been a personal way for her to connect with people, as it can capture a particular feeling, a memory, a moment.
“I wanted to find a way to pay tribute to this chapter and honor these amazing, once-in-a-lifetime characters and really capture what they represent through fragrance – the light, the complexity, the beauty of both Glinda and Elphaba,” Grande says.
The two fragrances highlight Grande’s Glinda and Cynthia Erivo‘s Elphaba, with Glinda Bubbly Pink and Elphaba Enchanted, respectively.
The Glinda Bubbly Pink features “a magical and effervescent blend of juicy Nectarine, Pink Sparkle Apple, and Charming Princess Tulips.” In true Glinda fashion, the scent will leave you feeling like you want to float through the air and grounded with notes of Sandalwood and Sugared Musks.
The Elphaba Enchanted is complex, layered, and surprisingly addictive. With notes of Green Glow Apple, Midnight Black Plum, and Moon Flower, the fragrance is wrapped with Oudwood, Oak Moss, and Vanilla Elixir. It acts as a tribute to Elphaba’s connection with the forest, where most of her important moments in the story take place.
Additionally, the perfumes feature bottle designs that capture the characters’ signature hues. Each fragrance is adorned with a cap inspired by the character’s iconic headpieces, such as Glinda’s crown and Elphaba’s architectural hat silhouette.
Both perfumes are priced at USD 72, or roughly PHP 4,135, for the 3.4 FL OZ (100 mL).
They launch in the US, Mexico, the UK, Ireland, and Australia starting in October; South Korea, Chile, and Colombia will launch in November.
