SOS has announced a new joint gig with August Wahh for their Japan send-off show, aptly titled AUGUST WAHH X SOS: SEND OFF SHOW.

The show, which is meant to help the two musical acts raise funds for their trip to Japan later this month, is set to take place at 8 PM in 123 Block, Mandala Park, Mandaluyong this weekend on January 13, 2024. Both acts have invited other performers to grace the stage at the highly-anticipated event, including “711” hit-maker Toneejay, ONE CLICK STRAIGHT, and indie musicians Toots, and Jolianne.

SOS and Wahh will be performing at the Music Lane Festival Okinawa 2024 as two of the twenty-six groups selected to perform at the event, with ten of these groups coming from overseas. According to the festival organizers, over 100 groups from all around the world applied to participate in the event –– with 76 Japanese and 68 international rounding up the total of 144 applicants. The festival is set to occur from Friday, January 19 up to Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Music Town Sound Market, Okinawa City, in Japan.

Just recently, SOS dropped their latest single titled “Please Lang” last November, which marked the latest teaser for the group’s forthcoming EP It Was A Moment. The track also followed the release of “Roses“, which came out last August. It Was A Moment is currently slated for release in early 2024, and will serve as their third EP following 2020’s The Other Side and their 2012 eponymous one, She’s Only Sixteen.
