LISA is taking fans behind the scenes of her life beyond BLACKPINK in Always Lalisa — her feature documentary coming to cinemas worldwide on October 12, 2026.

Directed by Sue Kim, the documentary will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 11, 2026, ahead of its limited theatrical release. It will later stream exclusively on YouTube Premium, with its streaming date yet to be announced.

Always Lalisa follows the South Korean pop star as she forges her own path across music and acting, while navigating her personal life beyond the spotlight. The film explores the making of her first solo album, her acting debut in The White Lotus Season 3, and the establishment of her company, LLOUD.

“There have been so many moments on her journey that I think will surprise people and give a glimpse into her world that no one’s ever seen before,” director Kim said in an earlier statement. “I’m excited for viewers to watch the film and witness this extraordinary moment in her life.”

The docu-film’s theatrical release arrives just days before LISA’s upcoming six-track EP, Press Play, which is set for release on October 23, 2026. Its pre-release single, “SaWaDiKa,” will drop on September 4, 2026 at 8:00 AM PHT.

LISA launched her solo career in 2021 with her hit single “LALISA” and released her debut solo album, Alter Ego, in 2025.

Meanwhile, one of the best-selling K-pop acts, BLACKPINK, reunited for a small event on August 8, 2026, celebrating the group’s 10th anniversary. The members — JENNIE, JISOO, ROSÉ, and LISA — have been pursuing their individual solo careers, with JENNIE recently releasing “FALLEN ANGEL” and JISOO set to make her comeback with “CLICK.”
