Oasis have unveiled the trailer for their upcoming documentary film on Disney’s YouTube channel. Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger, is set to premiere at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival on September 5, 2026, with theatrical and IMAX screenings to be released on September 11, 2026. It will also be available on Disney+ later this year.
The documentary film will explore the events that led up to and occurred during the band’s monumental reunion tour, Oasis Live ‘25 Tour, which saw estranged brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher reunite since the band’s split in 2009. The film was directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace and produced by Steven Knight, who is also known for his work on shows like Peaky Blinders and A Thousand Blows.
The trailer opens with footage taken of the band throughout the years, alongside multiple sound bites of news coverage on the band layered against each other. The familiar pick scraping sound featured in the band’s 1994 track “Supersonic” can subtly be heard in the background.
The trailer evidently hints that the film will tackle the complicated relationship between the Gallagher brothers, with audio of Noel saying, “I just don’t see myself on stage with Liam. I don’t really want to be going back with the tension. Will it fall apart again?” Displaying the emotional exploration of the brothers’ reconciliation, the trailer also features the hard-hitting, sentimental tracks “Champagne Supernova” and the eponymous song “Don’t Look Back in Anger.”
