On May 16, 2026, the historic streets of Escolta, Manila buzzed with anticipation for the highly awaited debut launch of P-pop’s newest act, XONARA.
Serving as 1Z Entertainment’s first-ever girl group under Republic Records and UMG Philippines, the seven-member act made their official entry into the local music scene through XONARA’s World. Following the release of their debut single, “TABI,” on May 15, 2026, fans gathered in Escolta to witness the group’s live performance and music video showcase.

Held from 12 PM to 10 PM, the pop-up experience drew in quite the crowd, with attendees exploring interactive installations such as a graffiti wall, DIY charm stations, and a stamp rally. Merchants also offered food, drinks, merchandise, and local crafts — from stickers and keychains to plushies, flowers, and thrift fashion pieces.
As the sun set around 6 PM, the crowd headed toward the stage for the night’s most anticipated moment.
Composed of TIN, EUREKAH, DOMINIQUE, ELLA, NAMIE, MEGUMI, and LEI, XONARA delivered a high-energy set that showcased their strong synergy and dynamic performance skills across vocals, rap, and dance. Despite having only one released track, the group held the audience’s attention from start to finish during their performance of “TABI.”
Beyond their stage presence, the members also charmed the fans during the talk segment, joined by host VJ Ai dela Cruz, wherein the group’s playful personalities came through, in contrast to their fierce aura while performing.

The event also served as the official launch of the “TABI” music video, timed with its online release via the group’s YouTube channel. Styled in bold black and red aesthetics with mixed-media visuals, street settings, and choreography sequences, it has already amassed over 500,000 views as of writing.
Earlier in the day, XONARA also held a media conference, marking their first formal introduction to the press, along with a meet-and-greet session for select fans. During the press event, the group explained the meaning behind their name: SONAR, representing their collective sound; SORA, inspired by Melchora Aquino and her heroism; NARRA, the Philippine national tree symbolizing their resilience; and X, signifying their limitless potential.
Following their introduction to the press, XONARA took their sound to the Wish 107.5 Bus at Eton Centris in Quezon City on May 19, 2026, steadily building momentum to a growing series of live stages and public performances after their debut launch experience.
With XONARA’s World, the group already signals a strong presence in the P-pop landscape, drawing attention, sparking conversation, and positioning themselves as one of the most promising acts to watch this year.
