Olivia Rodrigo makes her way into this week’s Billboard Philippines charts (dated May 2, 2026) with her latest single, “drop dead.”
The newly released single makes its debut at a snug spot within the Top 10 of the Philippines Hot 100, finding itself at the No. 8 position of the chart. As the lead single of Rodrigo’s highly anticipated third album you look so sad for a girl so in love, “drop dead” has garnered viral prominence due to the big marketing push that has seen the song dominate airwaves, as well as several advertisements and billboards nationwide. Like many of Rodrigo’s hit singles, the track has also spawned viral challenges on social media, dominating TikTok, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
Elsewhere across the globe, “drop dead” recently made its debut on the Billboard US Hot 100 at the No. 1 spot, marking Rodrigo’s fourth time to debut atop the chart. With such an achievement, the 23-year-old Filipino-American pop superstar has made history as the first (and only) artist to have all the lead singles from her studio albums to debut at No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart.
On the Philippines Hot 100, Skusta Clee and Flow G take back the No. 1 spot with their hit collaboration single, “Since Day One”, while Ben&Ben’s “Lifetime” moves down a spot to the No. 2 position this week. Alt-rock chart-toppers fitterkarma hold strong at No. 3 and No. 4 of the chart with “Kalapastangan” and “Pag-Ibig Ay Kanibalismo II,” followed by Bruno Mars’ “Risk It All,” which remains unmoved at No. 5. Moving up to No. 6 is Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj’s “Beauty and a Beat,” followed by Cup of Joe’s “Multo” at No. 7, and another hit by Bieber, “Daisies,” which moves up to No. 9 this week. Closing off the Top 10 for the week is El Manu’s “Tahanan,” which ranks at No. 10.
Billboard Philippines’ Hot 100 chart tracks the most prominent and popular songs in the Philippines by both local and international artists. It serves as one of Billboard Philippines’ official music charts, alongside the Top Philippine Songs chart. Updated every week, the Hot 100 ranks the top 100 tracks in the country using both audio and streaming data gathered and organized by the leading music and entertainment data provider, Luminate.
