Netflix‘s romantic comedy television series, Boyfriend on Demand, starring JISOO of BLACKPINK, debuts its official trailer.

Directed by Kim Jung-sik (No Gain No Love) and written by Namgung Do-young, the series follows a burnout webtoon producer Seo Mi-rae (JISOO), who seeks to escape real-world problems and relationships by subscribing to a virtual dating simulation service. This allows her to enter the digital world and interact with simulated partners who are programmed to be her ideal matches.

The trailer also features Kyeong-nam, played by Seo In-guk, with whom Mi-rae interacts in the real world. They develop a slow-burn connection, ultimately becoming “overtime work buddies,” which adds to a layer of complexity to her ventures in the digital world to find her perfect match.

The cast also includes Seo In-guk, Gong Min-jeung, Kim Ah-young, Park Hae-rin, Ha Young, and Han Ga-eul

Notably, one of the series’ filming locations was in Cebu. In February 2025, the K-pop idol and Seo In-guk were spotted filming scenes in Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City.
