BTS welcome the ARIRANG era with a new gift to ARMYs — the release of OFFICIAL LIGHT STICK VER.4 with brand new features and a new wireless control system.
The latest version of the light stick is an upgraded version of its predecessor, the MAP OF THE SOUL Special Edition (SE), released in 2020. It comes with a new design and compatible accessories such as a cradle and parts, along with added convenience for ARMYs thanks to a new dedicated app and improved wireless control system.
New in-app features include the venue map and pairing booth locations. ARMYs can check whether their Light Stick is properly paired before the concert starts, as it will light up in unison with other fans in the venue. Even if the pairing isn’t completed, the automatic wireless control can still be applied during certain parts of the show.
The app also records pairings in Concert Mode, which allows fans to view a list of the concerts they’ve attended in the History section. Meanwhile, various colors and flashing effects can be accessed by using buttons on the Light Stick without the app.
The new “Color Shaking” feature allows the light stick to change colors at random. This can be saved and selected with your chosen colors in Self Mode. Additionally, it can also be used as a mood lamp at home with the cradle.
Wireless control will be supported on VER.3, SE, and VER.4 up until the upcoming ‘ARIRANG’ concert begins in Las Vegas on May 28, 2026. Starting with the Busan concert on June 12, 2026, wireless control will only be supported on VER.4 Light Sticks.
